About Minx

Hi there! I’m Minx or as I call myself on social media Minx Nocturne, and I‘ve always been fascinated by dark fantasy and creepy dreamscapes with all the cute and horrifying creatures that they hold. 
Ever since I was a little girl I‘ve been plagued, and later on deeply inspired by my vivid nightmares.
 I‘ve quickly come to learn how to befriend the dark and see the beauty and light within it. As I decided to exchange horror for love and appreciation, it rewarded me with a neverending witches pot of inspiration, and I haven‘t stopped creating since.
My drawing style is oftentimes compared with the artworks of the amazing Tim Burton,  which arrives as a huge compliment to me, as I can deeply relate to his loving and heartwarming way of viewing outcasts and freaks. 
I’ve been chasing my dreams for many years now, and as rocky and adventurous my path has been, my unusual way of experiencing life has allowed me to gain a unique way of seeing the world and approaching my workings.
